Beach Themed Easter Basket Gift Ideas
Almost every spring break, our family goes on a big trip. And inevitably we usually leave for the trip the day after Easter.
So I started an Easter basket tradition throughout the years without even realizing it until now. Our girls’ Easter baskets are always beach-themed or travel-themed depending on our spring break destination.
I usually have to buy some things to pack for the vacation anyway, so why not put those things in their Easter basket instead of the suitcase? The best part is I know every single item will be put to use immediately, and I’m not wasting money on things my kids don’t need.
If you have a beach vacation planned for your spring break this year and need some last minute basket fillers, I pulled together some beach themed Easter basket gift ideas for every age. (Even if you don’t have a beach trip planned for spring break, all of the basket stuffers come in handy for summer right around the corner.)
They’re all from Amazon, and you can have most of them shipped to you within 24-48 hours… just in case you’re in a bit of a time crunch.

Beach Basket Gifts for Babies & Toddlers
1. Sun Hat | $18
Protects those sweet sensitive baby noggins while being so darn cute in a seersucker print.
2. Sandscreen Sand Remover | $25
Best beach find ever! If you don’t want to bring half the beach home with you, this removes sand from your feet (or anywhere) easily.
3. Reef Safe Sunscreen | $12
We love this natural sunscreen that is reef safe, SPF 50+, and hypoallergenic.
4. Waterproof Rainbow Fish Book | $9
Stuff this in the beach bag when baby needs a break from the ocean and needs a little storytime nap in the shade.
5. Sand Free Quick Dry Beach Towel | $30
Okay, hear me out… I would never normally pay $30 for a towel BUT when it’s quick dry and sand free and comes in a carrying pouch, I’m willing to make an exception.
6. Baby Beach Tent | $36
Always good to have a shady place for baby to play and nap on the beach, and this one is adorable.
7. Water Shoes | $16
To protect those newly walking feet from sharp sea shells and hot sand.
8. RuffleButts / RuggedButts Swimsuit | $27
I am hooked on this brand! My youngest is starting to outgrow her RuffleButts, but their quality is so good and they have the cutest prints.
9. Whale Sprinkler | $13
This is technically meant to be a bath toy, but it’s great to play with in the pool too.
10. Fishing Play Set | $8
The classic game to hone little one’s motor skills. The perfect toddler game to play on the beach.
11. Waterproof Baby Carrier | $90
Especially a good idea if you have multiple little ones to handle in the pool, this allows you to hold the baby hands-free.
12. Fish Teether | $10
Keep it in the beach bag for little one to get some teething relief on vacay.
Beach Basket Gift Ideas for Kids (Ages 3-6)
1. Sea Shell Collecting Bag | $7
So much better than shell collecting in a plastic bag or bucket! And kiddos can carry their own sand toys in it so you’re lugging slightly less.
2. Reef Sandals | $32
My youngest walked thousands of steps all over London, Stockholm, and Paris last summer and they held up perfectly! No blisters at all. And they’re waterproof.
3. Hooded Swim CoverUp | $17
So cute and classic and easy to toss on if your kids need to walk through a resort that requires a coverup.
4. Collapsible Travel Sand Toys | $22
I just bought these for my kids’ Easter baskets this year so we can pack them tightly in our carry-on without taking up too much room.
5. Kite | $20
I love the prints from this brand. Looks like something from Pottery Barn Kids but costs less.
6. Beach Scavenger Hunt Game | $6
A fun one to keep littles entertained on the beach while exploring nature.
7. Underwater Viewing Bucket | $30
If your kiddo doesn’t like putting their head underwater yet (especially if they hate getting water in their ears), this is a way they can “snorkel” while staying above water.
8. Solar Buddies Sunscreen Applicator | $16
The dreaded sunscreen rub down is a whole lot easier with this roll-on applicator. Fill it with your sunscreen of choice and apply it mess-free.
9. Curious George Goes to the Beach Storybook | $5
A total classic but always a good one, especially to read before bed in the hotel on a beach trip.
10. Swim Ring Pool Float | $25
This looks so chic! Serena & Lily vibes but affordable.
Would you like to save this?
11. Uno H20 To Go | $20
Our family is slightly obsessed with Uno, especially on vacation with the grandparents. This one can be used poolside (or in the pool) since it’s waterproof.
12. Easy Disk Soft Frisbee | $13
A good way for littles to toss the disc around on the beach but without the pain.
Beach Basket Gift Ideas for Kids (Ages 7-9)
1. Underwater Camera | $25
Especially if the kiddos will be snorkeling on vacation, this is a fun way for them to document the experience themselves.
2. Water Bottle | $25
My girls’ favorite water bottle right now that of course is coming to the beach with us.
3. Waterproof Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza Card Game | $15
This game is always a hit, so it gets bonus points for being able to play it on the beach.
4. Starfish Diving Toys | $13
We’ve seen our fair share of diving toys, and this set is by far one of the cutest.
5. Reusable Water Balloons | $17
Our girls play with these all summer long around the pool.
6. Sea Shell Painting Kit | $12
So cute! And if kids don’t want to go shell hunting to paint, the shells are already provided.
7. Sunglasses | $29
Always a must. These have rubberized bendable frames so they can take a beating with hard playing kiddos.
8. Beach Badminton Set | $8
A totally classic game to play in the sand.
9. Goggles | $25
Our girls love the fabric strap on these! They don’t pull hair and they’re easier to slip on than traditional goggles.
10. Beach Aquarium | $16
Way better than a typical sand bucket so kids can observe their sea critter finds.
11. Surfer Dudes Mini-Surfer | $20
This thing defies everything I thought I knew about water toys. The kids can toss it way out into the ocean and it comes surfing right back to them on the waves.
12. Water Hammock | $17
The best for packing in a suitcase! It folds up as small as a T-shirt and is really comfortable. We always have these for our pool at home.
Beach Basket Gift Ideas for Teens & Tweens
1. Portable Speaker | $40
Always a must for teens to relax to their favorite music in the sunshine. It may look small but it can be cranked up very loud.
2. Towel Bands $12
Keeps towels in place on lounge chairs on windy days!
3. Self-Tanning Drops | $29
My preteen has been begging to try self-tanner, so these drops are perfect to mix with lotion she already has without staining bedding. A lot more beginner-friendly than regular self-tanner too.
4. Mesh Beach Bag | $19
Cheap but handy, easy to clean, and small enough to pack for travel.
5. Chillbo Beach Couch | $36
For a super comfy beach lounge setup! You don’t even need an air pump and it packs small enough to throw into a beach bag.
6. Vacation Aloe Gel | $15
For the Sephora obsessed teen who got a little too much sun and likes boujee aloe (but it’s actually as inexpensive as the drug store kind).

Helps protect hair from chlorine and sun damage, keeps out the green, re-hydrates, adds shine, and makes combing easier post-swim.
8. Portable Air Pump | $20
Easy to toss in the beach bag to blow up floats and beach balls anywhere you travel.
9. Case-Mate Waterproof Phone Pouch | $30
We have personally tried this brand and it always protects our phones. The cute bow is a bonus of course.
10. Waterproof Deck of Cards | $6
In case the teen group wants to break out a round of Spoons or Spades poolside.
11. Handheld Mini Fan | $9
Nice to have handy if your teen prefers to lounge in the hot sun.
12. The Summer I Turned Pretty Novel | $7
My 12 year-old was so excited about this book! A sweet young adult summer read.
